What is Pawat Labz?

Pawat Labz is a digital creative laboratory bringing together rap music, animation, browser games and a freestyle training tool. It is not a static portfolio but a living hub where each section is a portal to a family of creations.

The Lab is created by Pawat, an artist known as Wampawat (MC), Pawat_Music (beatmaker and producer) and Pawat_TV (animation and music videos).

Why the name Pawat Labz?

The name comes from Pawat, the creator, and Lab, for laboratory. The z marks the plural: there are several Labz, several universes that live side by side and feed each other. An idea can start as music, become a game, then a tool.

Is the site free?

Yes, completely. Music, videos, series, games, Impro Labz and artist profiles are all available for free, with no ads.

If you want to help the Lab grow, the support page lets you make a donation. It is entirely optional.

Is the site still in development?

Yes, on purpose. Pawat Labz is a living lab: some sections are complete, others are in beta, and new features arrive regularly. Rather than waiting for a "perfect" version, the Lab shows its work in progress.

What are Lab Academy and the LabStore?

They are two sections in preparation, not yet open to the public:

• Lab Academy: step-by-step practical guides on web development, game making and creative tools.
• LabStore: the Lab's future shop, with beat packs, games, creative resources and, later on, merch.

Their launch will be announced in the site's news ticker.

Where can I listen to the music?

In the Music section, right on the site:

• Music videos: MALABARZ, the Old School Cypher, the Tous Ensemble series…
• Collabz: cyphers (Tous_ensemble with 31 artists, HipHop is not dead, La RE-7 Cypher I…) and features
• Beats: the Pawat_Music library, with a built-in audio player

Releases are also published on the @Pawat_Music YouTube channel.

What are Pawat TV and SagaZ zzz?

Pawat_TV is the Lab's animation studio, set in a cartoon cyber-neon world. Its flagship series, SagaZ zzz, is a Dragon Ball Z parody with a Pawat Labz twist.

Episodes can be watched in the Animation section, with a playlist and a built-in player, and on the @Pawat_TV YouTube channel.

Why don't videos start right away?

To protect your privacy and keep the site fast, YouTube videos are not loaded when the page opens: only a picture is shown. The YouTube player loads when you click it, in "privacy-enhanced" mode.

Which games can I play?

Five free browser games are available:

• Breaking Labz (beta): a brick breaker with an RPG soul, 40 levels, 4 bosses and 3 skills to unlock
• Jet Bot: a vertical arcade game inspired by Flappy Bird
• Tetrix: falling blocks in a dark, technical style
• Memory Labz: find the pairs of cards across several worlds
• Des Sons & Des Mots (beta): listen and find the hidden word

Do I need to download anything or create an account to play?

No. The games run right in your browser, with no download and no sign-up. They work on desktop (keyboard, mouse) and on mobile (touch).

Why does the game ask me to allow saving?

Without an account, the games store your progress and scores in your browser (local storage). That data stays on your device and is never sent to the server. The game asks for your consent first.

If you decline, the game cannot start, because it needs that save to work. You can log in with a free account instead: your saves then follow your account and this permission is no longer needed.

Are my scores kept? Are there leaderboards?

Without an account, your scores stay in the browser of the device you use: if you switch devices or clear your browser data, they are lost.

With a free account, you keep your scores across all your devices. Leaderboards and rewards are planned for members.

What is Impro Labz?

Impro Labz is a free tool for freestyle rap practice. It scrolls random words for you to fit into your flow, over a beat, to simulate a real session.

• Words in French, English or Spanish
• Three difficulty levels
• Adjustable word speed
• Pawat_Music beats in the background, filterable by style, beatmaker and BPM, or no beat at all

Who are the Co-Labz?

They are the artists who have worked with the Lab: MCs, beatmakers, video makers, designers. Each one has a profile in the Co-Labz section, with a bio, discipline, photo and links to their channels. In the Music section, each artist's name leads straight to their profile.

I'm an artist: how can I appear in Co-Labz?

Get in touch from the Contact page to talk about a collaboration.

If you have already worked with the Lab, you may receive an invitation link. Opening it with your account lets you claim your Co-Labz profile: it is linked to your account and you can then edit it yourself from your profile (bio, photo, links).

Do I need an account?

No. The whole site is free to browse. Signing up is free and optional; it lets you:

• keep your game scores across all your devices;
• access future leaderboards and rewards;
• receive the monthly newsletter, if you want it;
• be invited to beta tests of new features, if you want.

I didn't receive the confirmation email.

First check your spam or junk folder. If it is not there, go to the login page and click "Resend confirmation email".

I forgot my password.

On the login page, click "Forgot password?". Enter your account email: you will receive a 6-digit code to enter before choosing a new password.

For your security, the password must be at least 12 characters long, with an uppercase letter, a lowercase letter, a number and a special character.

How do I stop receiving the newsletter?

Two ways: click the unsubscribe link included in every email, or untick the option in your profile, under "Email preferences". The same goes for beta test invitations.

How do I delete my account?

Write to [email protected] from the email address linked to your account and ask for it to be deleted. The request is handled within one month at most.

Does the site use cookies or tracking?

No ads, no advertising cookies. The site only uses what it needs: a session cookie to keep you logged in, and your browser's local storage for game saves. Your data is never sold, rented or transferred.

In-house audience measurement: to know which pages, games and music you enjoy, the site counts its own visits, without any outside service. No cookie, no IP address, no link to your account: each visit gets a random identifier erased when the tab is closed. You can opt out at any time from article 19 of the Terms.

Only two external services may set their own cookies, and only if you use them: YouTube when you start a video, and PayPal when you make a donation.

How do I switch the site to French?

Use the FR / EN language switcher at the top of the screen. The site remembers your choice for your next visits.

How do I find a track, an artist or a game?

Use the search bar on the home page and the main sections: it instantly finds a track, an artist, a game or a section.

How can I follow what's new?

• The news ticker at the top of the site announces every major update.
• @Pawat_Music on YouTube: tracks, beats and music releases.
• @Pawat_TV on YouTube: music videos, series and animation.
• The monthly newsletter, for members who opted in.

How do I contact Pawat Labz?

Through the form on the Contact page: a question, a collaboration idea, feedback on a game, a bug… I read every message and reply personally. You can also write directly to [email protected].

How can I support the Lab?

On the Support the Lab page, you can donate through PayPal. Crypto and bank transfer donations will come later. Every contribution directly funds hosting, the development of games and tools, music and videos.

Sharing the site, the tracks and the games with people around you is also a great way to help.
